History
Originally from Liverpool, Christos studied visual arts and media at LJMU & Multimedia technology at Liverpool University before moving to London and
co-founding the original moving image studio, where they produced hundreds of client and self-generated / collaborative projects across film, tv broadcast, installations & stage content for international music tours.
Developing a deeper interest in immersive arts & working in XR over the last couple of years, OUTERGROUND is a fully qualified headset voyager.
Inspiration
Drawing on many sources across the arts,
the Outerground approach fuses disparate creative elements and takes inspiration from different art forms, examining and exploring the relationships between music and literature, painting, dance and poetry, film and sculpture, photography and beyond
The results are often surprising, dredging up motifs and cyphers from deep within the subconscious.
Dreams and symbols play an important part in the creative process. Taking a simple photograph or field sound recording can often spark off new project ideas.
